Golf outing -- Marines Gaunt and Seibert reported the income an= d expenses for the 2006 golf outing (see attachment).

On a motion duly made, pro= perly seconded, and unanimously approved; RESOLVED; that $600.00 be set aside for the 2007 Golf Outing.

Marines Handy, Luecke and = Seibert accepted appointment to the 2007 Golf Outing Committee.

Veteran’s Council – M= arine Scott announced upcoming events:

VI.       UNFIN= ISHED OR NEW BUSINESS

On a motion duly made, pr= operly seconded, and unanimously approved; RESOLVED; that a bugle be purchased for the Detachments use.

On a motion duly made, pr= operly seconded, and unanimously approved; RESOLVED; that a Marine Assistance Committee be established within the Detachment.

Marine Gaunt presented id= eas for promoting the Albert E. Shockey Detachment during the upcoming October fest= . On a motion duly made, properly seconded, and unanimously approved; RESOLVED; that $184.00 be authorized= for the purchase of 300 Halloween bags. These bags will be distributed to t= he children.

An Associate Member Quest= ionnaire will be developed by Captain Shimp for consideration at the next meeting.
