MCL Bike Run – Marine Crousore reported that the 2007 Bike Run will start from the VFW 1152 Post on June 2nd, 2007. It will include a Hog Roast after the run. He asked that everyone help spread the w= ord.

 

Toys for Tots is working with the Salvation Army and Goodfellow= s to accept applications from needy families on November 27th through= Dec 1st. Volunteers are encouraged to contact Marine Lushin.

 

The Toys for Tots purchase is scheduled to take place a Meier on December 16th at 5:00 p.m. Toy distribution will be at 1401 N. Washington St. from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., December 20th and 21st.<= /p>

 

Friday, Nov. 10th – Color Guard at Elwood Hayn= es School. Meet at the post at 9:00 a.m. Marines Gaunt, Lushin, Loffredo, Handy, and Coulter will attend.

Friday, Nov. 10th – Darrough Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch and Marine Corps Birthday cake at Gol= den Corral at 12:00.

 

Veterans Council – Marine Scott announced that next years= car show will be at Eric Chevrolet. The proceeds will be used to purchase a 2nd van.

 

November 2006 veteran̵= 7;s activities include;

            SOS breakfast on the 7th at Golden Corral till 10:30 a.m.

            Veteran’s dinner on the 13th at the Golden Corral.

            Pizza Party at the Veterans Hospital on the 19<= sup>th.
